Welcome to restaurant Ses Boques, a beautiful hidden and authentic chiringuito on the south coast of Ibiza. Close to the small town Es Cubells you will find this intimate bay where we serve fresh and delicious (sea)food.
CANBIBI’S HOTSPOTS
Let us take you on a tour around the island. Here you can find our selected hotspots!
Enjoy Ibiza the Canbibi way !
SES BOQUES
Only a 7 minutes drive away you can find the best lobster beach restaurant in town: Ses Boques!
The fresh seafood, salads and paella are made following 40 year old recipes by our Ses Boques family.
On the wooden terraces between the pine trees you’ll have a relaxed and atmospheric lunch or dinner. Come and enjoy!
CAN MESTRE
As the famous Belgian chef Sergio Herman describes in his book Sobremesa: when I drive down the dusty path of our house to go to do grocery shopping, I stop at the local bar ‘can mestre’ to have a coffee.
The bar is all day visited by workers mixed with residents and tourists of all sorts, this gives a great Ibiza feeling and next to the bar there is the cas mestre supermarket. How convenient to have a small supermarket 200 metres downhill from your house!
ES TORRENT
Close to a 10 minute drive from Can Bibi.
A restaurant with a soul of a beach bar or a beach bar with a soul of a restaurant situated in the bay of Es Cubells where even A yacht dropes by few times during summer.
ES VEDRA & ATLANTIS
Es Vedra and Atlantis are a 6-minute drive from Can bibi, both worth a nice trip:
Es Vedra is named after the patron saint of the island: Tanit, the goddess of fertility. According to one of the legends, Atlantis is also located here, in a hidden bay that can only be reached by boat. There are also stories about mystical experiences and cosmic powers around Es Vedra and no one seems to have died.
CALA JONDAL
Hardly more than 12 minutes away from Canbibi by car
Cala Jondal a must visit with different types of beach clubs:
- Blue Marlin Ibiza, day-to-night dining/beach/music-club
- Yemanja Ibiza, an idyllic hotspot that has built its outstanding reputation on traditional Spanish cuisine and family-friendly ambiance for more than 30 years. The overall restaurant and beach experience is not limited to just “lazy lunches” but there is much more on offer! Yemanja captures the magic of the true spirit of Ibiza for lunch, dinner, beach, landscape, music and ambiance.
- Tropicana Ibiza, a place offering a wide and varied selection which caters for every taste, from traditional cuisine and Ibizan seafood to Mediterranean and International cuisine, as well as simpler dishes, such as pasta or salads. Our service is always professional, attentive and friendly. The Tropicana Beach Bar offers a wide and varied range of services, which allow you to make the most of your day on Cala Jondal beach. The tempting breakfasts can be enjoyed from an early hour. Later in the day you can enjoy anything from simple pasta dishes, sandwiches, burgers and salads, to more elaborate fish and meat dishes. You can also enjoy delicious natural juices, or any soft drink you may require in addition to an attractive list of wines, sparkling wines and champagnes. The Cava Sangria is very popular and in great demand. A place where you can forget your cares and enjoy yourself listening to calming Ibiza-style Chill music. It is a place for everyone, families, couples, groups of friends… On Sunday afternoon at the Kiosk the Tropical festival is celebrated to the sound of Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms where you can dance samba, salsa, merengue and percussion…
- Es Xarcu, discover our bit of sandy paradise—a cosy little cove where boats can moor. Restaurante Es Xarcu offers fresh-caught, locally-sourced fish (rotja, denton, mero, gall de Sant Pere) baked traditionally. Throw in a personal touch and the result is one of a kind. Our fresh red prawns, hand-carved Spanish ham and large selection of wines make the dining experience at Es Xarcu unparalleled.
CALA D’HORT
Beach Cala D’Hort will give you great sunset views over the sea and Es Vedra : 8 minute drive
The beach is a small, popular beach with a beautiful view over Es Vedrá, hundreds of meters further into the sea. The beach is partly sandy and partly pebbly and is hugely popular in summer. Every target group can enjoy the sun, sea and beach on the beach of Cala d’Hort. You will meet families, old locals, young locals and couples; there is something for everyone!
With a number of large rocks and cliffs behind it, the beach is accessible via a steep road, which in the summer months is sometimes one-way traffic due to the cars parked along the road. So get to Cala d’Hort early to avoid having to walk up the steep mountain on the way back!
There are three good restaurants on the beach, known for their fresh fish and paella! The restaurant Del Carmen is located directly on the beach, while Es Boldado is situated higher on the cliffs.
ES CUBELLS
The home town of CanBibi
Es Cubells is located in between the 2 biggest cities Ibiza and San Antonio and is not more then 20 minutes away from each of those by car. The same goes for the airport: In 15 minutes you get from the airport to your lovely Canbibi villa.
SAN JOSEP
San Josep is the closest town to Canbibi, about 7 minutes away by car.
The best tapas are served in Destino next to the local square and close to the church. It is a Euro-eastern tapas bar restaurant in which its concept is to unite tapas from all over the world with a special touch.
BEACH CLUB CBBC
The famous Cala Bassa Beach Club (CBbC) can be reached after a 20 minute drive
A day on the beach, when details count. Balinese beds with sea views await you at CBbC Cala Bassa . An oasis to relax to the rhythm of the music and the waves of the sea after a Mediterranean haute cuisine meal.
CALA BONITA
A few minutes north of Ibiza town just over the hill from Jesus, an old gem has been given a fresh new start. Perched on a secret beach at the end of a dusty camino, an old restaurant has been lovingly restored and updated with natural materials to create an elegant yet rustic space featuring a restaurant, tapas bar, beach and cocktails.
Long lazy lunches are served in the open air restaurant terrace overlooking the ocean and the beach.
The menu while firmly rooted in locally sourced ingredients and Mediterranean flavors has an interesting and modern edge.
